Course Description
If you work with clients with generational trauma and are wondering where to start, this course may be for you. In this course, we will explore and define generational trauma, navigate history taking and learn new skills to work with your client’s nervous system to prepare them for reprocessing. We will also apply various treatment planning techniques and learn more about the art of re-evaluation and how it applies to this work.
Course Objectives
- Define generational trauma and name three modalities of transmission.
- Summarize critical elements of history taking.
- Apply knowledge of Adaptive Information Processing system in target formation.
- Appraise different treatment planning approaches and key differences in application.
- Appraise the research on adaptive genetic transmissions and apply to Phase 2: Preparation.
- Differentiate past, present, and future prong targets and compare treatment gains.
